Rogue Valley Symphony

We cannot create music without YOU! Your personal gift to the Symphony allows us to keep ticket prices affordable and bring you great performances. Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference.

We have several ways that YOU can support the symphony and be a diamond of our diamond season:

Donate Directly to the Symphony

Individual Giving

We are only as great as the support we receive. Your gifts are vital to the continued success of the Rogue Valley Symphony. Make a donation for the season and support your local symphony. The entire amount of your contribution will be used to support the non-profit activities of the Association, in return for which you received no goods or services. Your donation is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code for federal income tax purposes, tax ID #93-0565516.

Donate to Education

Education donations fund our Link Up, Classical Coaches, and Musical Mentors programs, which directly benefit students in our local community and beyond. In 2024, the demand for our Education programs increased by 500%. We now serve 3,800 elementary students and over 2,000 middle and high school music students.  The entire amount of your contribution is used to support the Education  activities of the RVSA, in return for which you received no goods or services, but endless amounts of joy for contributing to music education. Your donation is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code for federal income tax purposes.

Sponsor a Musician, Soloist, or Concert

To make the MOST IMPACT, consider becoming a Sponsor. There are multiple ways to support RVS through sponsorship; you can sponsor a concert, guest artist, or a member of the orchestra. Contact our offices at (541) 708-6400 for sponsorship availability.

Becoming a Musician Sponsor allows you to create a personal connection to an orchestra musician. Your name will be listed under your musician’s photo in the program magazine for the season. You will be invited to meet your musician at a post-concert reception.

Endowment Giving

Giving to our endowment is the gift that truly keeps on giving. Your gift to the Endowment Fund is forever. It ensures that the Symphony will be able to enrich and transform lives for years to come. It helps guarantee that future generations of Rogue Valley citizens and visitors will be thrilled by performances of great symphonic music the same as you have been. It ensures that young people will continue to be mentored, taught, and exposed to classical music by RVS musicians. Endowment gifts are a minimum of $1000, all are acknowledged in concert programs, and those who donate become members of the esteemed Encore Society.

Donations will be listed in the concert programs. All gifts of $1,000 or more are invited to our post-concert receptions, our season reveals, and other exclusive events. Our listed giving levels are as follows:

The Rogue Valley Symphony is thriving, and appreciates your help in continuing to do so. Major donors and sponsors are invited to attend our post-concert receptions, where they can meet with the music director, soloist(s), and members of the orchestra over wine and hors d’oeuvres. In-kind donations reduce the cost of our operations. From refreshments for our musicians at rehearsals to hotel rooms for our visiting artists, there are many ways you or your business can provide assistance.

Corporate Support

Support your community while growing your business

With sold-out performances in Ashland, Medford, and Grants Pass, our programs reach a broad market throughout the Southern Oregon region, with more than 11,000 people served over the course of our season. Our loyal concert patrons are great supporters of the arts. They appreciate and patronize businesses that also support the arts in our community.

RVS has a variety of ways you can partner to support your community while also growing your brand: you can become a Corporate Sponsor, advertise in our program book, or sponsor our educational activities.

IRA Charitable Distribution

Make a donation from your IRA or Retirement Fund via an IRA Charitable Distribution. If you have reached age 70 ½, you are eligible to make a year-end donation from your IRA without income tax consequences.
