Medford – Craterian Theater at the Collier Center For Performing Arts

Craterian Theater at the Collier Center For the Performing Arts is Southern Oregon’s state-of-the-art community performing arts center. The facility features excellent acoustics and sight lines, an impressive array of theatrical equipment, and is operated by a professional staff. The comfortable auditorium seats 750 patrons and the stage can accommodate large national concert, dance, and theatrical tours.

The Craterian Theater is a vibrant facility utilized by all parts of the community for performances, rehearsals, classes and workshops, conferences, receptions, parties, seminars, trainings, etc.

From the South:
Depart I-5 on Exit 27
Turn LEFT (West) onto (E) Barnett Road for 0.6 miles
Turn RIGHT (North) onto South Riverside Avenue for 0.9 miles
Turn LEFT (West) onto East Main Street for 0.1 miles
Turn LEFT (South) onto South Central Avenue
Theater is on LEFT

From the North:
Depart I-5 Southbound Exit 30
Turn RIGHT (South West) onto Crater Lake Highway for 0.4 miles
Follow signs to City Center
Road turns to the left and becomes Court Street for 0.6 miles
Court Street becomes North Central Avenue; stay on Central for 0.8 miles
Theater is on LEFT after you cross Main Street.

Parking

Along with plentiful street parking (Free on Weekends), we recommend the lot across Central Ave from RCC (Free on Weekends), or the Evergreen Garage at 34 W 8th St (Paid).

Public Transit

From the south, the RVTD #10 Bus has a stop at Front Street Station in Medford, which is about a 1/4mi walk from the Craterian Theater. From within Ashland or Medford areas, the ride costs $2 and takes up to 45min.

From the northeast, connect to the RVTD #60 bus. For some starting points, the #63 bus picks up in Eagle Point at Royal & Main, and #60 picks up in White City bus at Cascade Shopping Center. This ride stops at the Front Street Station in Medford, which is about a 1/4mi walk from the Craterian Theater. The ride costs $2 and takes between 40min (White City) and 50min (Eagle Point).

From the northwest, connect to the Rogue Valley Commute Line #100 to the Rogue Valley Commute Line stop in Medford and walk 1/4mi to the Craterian Theater. This line picks up in Grants Pass at Anne Basker Auditorium 500 NW 6th St, but you have to contact the agency at (541) 474-5452. The ride costs $2 and takes about 1hr 30min.

For Rogue Valley Manor residents, there is a shuttle available to our concerts – all you have to do is request its use at the concierge desk.
